Blue Ram

Cichlids, also known as Mikrogeophagus Ramirezi, are a popular freshwater fish species known for their bright colors and peaceful nature. They are native to the Orinoco River basin in South America. Care for Cichlids involves providing them with a suitable tank setup, appropriate water conditions, and a balanced diet.

Tank Setup:
Cichlids should be kept in a tank that is at least 75 Litres (20 gallons) in size.
They prefer a heavily planted tank with plenty of hiding places and open swimming areas.
A fine-grained substrate, such as sand or small gravel, should be used to mimic their natural habitat.

Water Conditions:
Cichlids prefer a pH level of 6.0-7.5 and a water temperature of 27-30c (80-86F).
They prefer soft water with a low to moderate water hardness.
Regular water changes should be performed to keep the water clean and free of harmful toxins.

Diet:
Cichlids are omnivorous and will eat a variety of food such as flakes, pellets, frozen, and live food.
Feed them small quantities several times a day to avoid overfeeding
