"Two Worlds" art print by Justin Summerton

One of my "discovering New Zealand", or "Colonist" works. The concept is Captain Cook’s Endeavour seeking the New World, the Unknown Southern Land, but instead encounters the future – an early climate change piece.

Justin Summerton is an established mid-career artist and surfer who lives with his family in Dunedin. He captures the beauty and isolation of the landscape and has a distinct brushstroke technique which often results in a thick, layered effect.
