"Down the River Bank" art print by Angus Collis

Painted after Collis’s return to the Bay of Plenty in 2018, this piece captures the quiet charm of rural New Zealand. With a simple, stylized approach, it reflects his renewed connection to home and the gentle rhythms of country life.

Angus Collis is a New Zealand painter and printmaker inspired by the coastal landscapes of the Bay of Plenty. After years between city studios, rural retreats, and a decade in Barcelona, he now creates atmospheric landscapes that blend observation with a sense of mystery.
