'Tuatara Eight Pence' 1935 NZ pictorial stamp print

Our New Zealand vintage stamp collection showcases pictorials from two significant periods: 1898 and 1935. The stamps issued in 1935 were selected from a vast collection of public submissions, which were categorized into various themes such as fauna, scenery, Maori art, agricultural, history, and sport. After a meticulous evaluation process, a total of over 1,500 submissions were considered, resulting in the inclusion of eleven iconic designs in the final set of stamps.
