Crab Apple Berry Stem, Black Doris 38cm Faux Branch
Every arrangement needs one dark note, and berries do it better than anything else.
The Crab Apple Berry in Black Doris is a 38cm branch hung with clusters of deep plum fruit, each one finished with a tiny calyx and a faint bloom on the skin, alongside serrated green leaves. The colour sits somewhere between damson and aubergine, which is exactly the weight a pale arrangement needs to stop it floating. Short enough for a small vessel and dense enough to earn its place, it is a useful stem to keep on hand across our faux plants and foliage range. Styling the Shelf
- Tuck two or three through a cream arrangement to give it depth. The Petite Hydrangea in cream is a good foil.
- On its own in a small dark vessel, it reads as sculptural rather than floral. Good for a bathroom shelf or a bedside.
- Autumn tablescapes are where it earns its keep. Pair with the Cottage Berry Spray in Mulberry for two depths of the same idea.
- Berries also carry Christmas without turning red and green. Worth remembering in December. Why You'll Love It

Is it too dark for a light interior? The opposite. A single dark note is what stops a pale arrangement reading as flat. One or two stems is usually enough in a cream or bone grouping.
Do the berries come off? They are moulded onto wired sprigs rather than glued on, so they stay put through normal handling and storage.
Would it suit a gift? On its own it is a small gesture, so it works best paired. Three berry stems tied with a vase makes a good hostess or thank you gift, especially heading into autumn. More ideas sit in our gifts for the home edit. The short of it
Small, dark and genuinely useful. The Black Doris berry stem is the piece you reach for when an arrangement looks pretty but weightless.
