Merlino Watering Can in Avocado, 1L or 2L Matte Steel by Potted

Some tools get picked up so often they may as well look good doing it. The Merlino Watering Can by Potted is a clean, unfussy shape in matte avocado green, made to live out on the bench rather than under the sink.

It is crafted from galvanised steel with a powder-coated matt finish and comes in two sizes. The 1L is right for a windowsill of small pots, herbs and succulents, while the 2L handles a larger indoor collection or a few patio planters in one trip. the rest of our plant care and propagation pieces to complete the set.

Which size should I choose?
Choose the 1L for a handful of small to medium pots or a tight space. Choose the 2L if you water a larger collection, floor plants or outdoor planters and would rather refill less often.

Are both sizes the same colour and finish?
Yes. Both are the same matte avocado green in powder-coated galvanised steel, so they sit well together if you want one for inside and one for the deck.

Is it a good gift for a plant lover?
It is one of our easiest picks for the green-fingered, and the 1L sits comfortably in our gifts under $50. Tuck it in with a planter for a housewarming or a new-flat gift.

Why You'll Love It
- Two sizes, so you can match the can to how many plants you care for
- Muted avocado green that works with greenery and natural textures
- Galvanised steel body with a powder-coated matt finish
- Simple, tidy lines that look at home on an open shelf

Styling the Plant Corner
Set the 1L on a kitchen windowsill beside a row of herbs, or keep the 2L at the foot of a floor plant with a woven basket nearby. The avocado tone pairs well with soft oatmeal glazes such as our Orbit hanging planter, and with warm timber, linen and pale stone in a coastal or Scandi space.
