Kingfisher / Kōtare Outdoor Wall Art

A striking outdoor interpretation of New Zealand’s native kōtare / kingfisher.

The detailed kōtare design is laser cut from glossy black acrylic and mounted over corrugated metal, creating strong contrast and real dimensional depth. As the light changes, the raised acrylic casts subtle shadows across the silver corrugate, bringing the layered feather and branch detail to life.

Finished in a solid kwila timber frame, the warm natural timber balances the industrial metal and glossy black acrylic for a distinctive piece designed for outdoor spaces.
