Ken Auton 'Dancing Octopus' bronze sculpture

Bronze Octopus sculpture mounted on weathered New Zealand Totara timber base. Edition number 9 of a proposed series of 30 sculptures, with variation of form and pose in each sculpture, making all unique. Dimensions approximately 280 x 230 x 200mm ( 11 x 9 x 8 inches ) L x W x H.
Made using the 'lost wax' process. The Octopus was cast in many individual parts, then assembled by carefully welding these components together.
The sculpture is signed, dated and numbered.
