Rimu Keeper - Harakeke (Phormium tenax)

Rimu and cast bronze, overall 172mmW x 89mmD x 105mmH, internal box measurements 146mmW x 64mmD x 60mmH

Rimu is a majestic native found throughout New Zealand, known for its graceful, cascading foliage. The bronze finial is cast directly from a Harakeke (Phormium tenax) seed pod, a native New Zealand plant deeply connected to the cultural heritage of Aotearoa.

Note: As most New Zealand native timber is not available as newly harvested material, Jennifer uses recovered native timbers in her work.
