Pavetest Bending Beam Rheometer (BBR)

PG grading for asphalt is the way to categorize binder based on the suitability to use it in different climates. BBR can assess the binder performance in colder areas. It applies a constant load to the binder sample and measures the deflection of the binder beam at certain temperatures. The flexural stiffness and other parameters will be calculated to identify the performance of the binder at low temperatures. This machine is servo-controlled and is suitable both for PG-grading routine tests and research.
