The low reflective properties of the 3.2mm safety/tempered glass front allows for maximum light absorption, while the low-iron content of the glass gives it more transparency than other types of glass for maximum solar production. A corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum frame surrounding the solar panel adds strength and allows for easy mounting.
The junction box attached to the back of the solar panel has a weather tight seal with an Ingress Protection rating of 65, a built-in bypass diode in the junction box provided added protection to panels connected in series during partial shading on an array. This solar panel is also supplied with 900mm of cable for each positive/negative with the standard MC4 solar panel connectors crimped onto each cable.
