Kōwhaiwhai Engraved Dish

This is a stunning dish from Wiremu Barriball, featuring a design inspired by the flowing kōwhaiwhai patterns traditionally painted on the rafters of Māori wharenui/meeting houses. This dish offers a contemporary interpretation of a traditional Māori art form.

Crafted from premium composite material , its refined form and elegant relief detail create an object that brings a quiet energy to a space - perfect for organising jewellery and other small precious items.

Each comes with a small info card about the design, and the designer.

Note that no two dishes are identical, as this is a composite stone material so each has its own unique idiosyncrasies in the finish and colour.
