It is a key ingredient in chocolate making and more recently however it has become a staple in many raw food diet desserts and sweets. Cacao butter holds together at room temperature so is perfect for creating a firm texture in many raw food desserts and because it has a mild chocolate taste and flavour so can be used in many desserts not just those that are cacao/chocolate based.
