Chitosan is a natural substance that actually binds with the fats you eat. Chitosan is a polysaccharide found in the exoskeleton of shellfish, such as crabs and shrimps. It is a naturally occurring substance that is chemically similar to cellulose (plant fibre). Chromium (from Chromium Nicotinate Glycinate) (TRAACS) - 300mcg

Chitosan (LipoSan Ultra)1.5g (1,500mg) Other ingredients: Hypromellose (cellulose capsule), Stearic Acid (vegetable source) and Silicon Dioxide. Contains Shellfish (shrimp). Dosage

Adults: Take 3 capsules immediately before the main meal - up to 2 times a day. Do not exceed 6 capsules per day.

Take at least 4 hours before or after fat soluble vitamins (A, D, E, & K) or medications. Precautions Keep out of reach of children. Should not be taken if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not take if you have any kind of shellfish allergy. Do not consume chitosan at the same time as pharmacy medications or other supplements. Have at least a 4 hour separation between the two. It is not recommended to use this product on a regular basis. Because this fibre is non specific in the fats it binds to, you can also loose the fat soluble vitamins too, such as vitamin A, D, E, F K.
