MooGoo a naturally derived, water-resistant sunscreen formulated with Zinc Oxide as its only active UV filter - no chemical UV filters, no synthetic preservatives, no fragrance, and no alcohol.
Zinc Oxide sits on the surface of the skin and reflects UVA and UVB rays away like a physical barrier, rather than absorbing them into the skin the way chemical UV filters do.

Apply generously and evenly to all exposed skin 20 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every 2 hours, and immediately after swimming, sweating, or towel-drying. Do not forget ears, the back of the neck, and tops of feet.
If the cream separates after exposure to heat - a thin clear liquid may appear first - simply shake the tube or mix on the skin as you apply. The formula remains fully effective.

MooGoo took four years to develop - and the reason for that is worth understanding. Making a zinc-only sunscreen that provides genuine broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection without being greasy, white, or unstable is a genuinely difficult formulation challenge. Zinc Oxide is naturally a white, chalky mineral that does not blend easily into the skin, which is why most mass-market sunscreens use chemical UV filters instead. Getting it to spread clearly, stay stable, preserve naturally, and remain comfortable on sensitive skin required significant development work before MooGoo was satisfied with the result.
