The time of most concern for an underfloor heating install is the time between laying the cable and installation of the final flooring product. There is nothing worse than having to pull up the final flooring to fix an underfloor heating cable. A continuity monitor will sound an alarm if the underfloor cable has been cut or significantly damaged. Please note that a continity monitor will not detect a crushed cable that can create a hot spot. Best practice is to test the ohms before installation of the final flooring. 2 x AAA batteries required. Batteries not included.
