UV and IR diodes are strategically placed amongst the main Samsung LM301H LED diodes to ensure even saturation of these wavelengths across the grow space. All three dimmers are there to manipulate and maximize your plants' performance in any and all growth cycles.
Benefits of Ultra Violet Exposure:
-Regulated UV exposure triggers a natural mechanism within plants, resulting in a specific "sugar" production boost. This also further develops a plant's aroma and colour with a superior amount of visible resins.
Benefits of Infrared or Far-Red Exposure:
-The Emerson Effect studies the benefits and cooperation of long wavelengths of light (Infrared/Far-Red) triggering two photosystems within the plant. The end result is improved photosynthesis and yields.
Balancing these two wavelengths:
-Both IR and UV are there to enhance your plant in various aspects, they are designed to be used in moderation with the dimmers to ensure the best results alongside the main grow spectrum.
The 640x rating is true to its nature, consuming 640watts at full power with a rated flowering coverage of 1.5m x 1.5m. Of course, the intensity across the entire LED can be adjusted to suit all aspects of a grow cycle from seedlings and cuttings right through Veg and Flowering to harvest.
