Kowhai Pod Drop Earrings | Medium | Sterling Silver

The Kowhai Pod Drop Earrings are made from a cast of a large Kowhai Seed Pod from a tree found in a friend's Christchurch garden. The tree has a larger seed than my Mt Eden Kowhai tree, and I like the idea of the seeds looking more like substantial beads.

The pods have a beautiful texture and are highly detailed, and their form looks beautiful in Sterling.

The result is a pair of beautifully elegant earrings handcrafted in sterling silver.

The finished length is approximately 25mm.
