PLIXIR – Elite BAC 3000 (AMP) MK II – Balanced AC Power Conditioner
The PLiXiR Elite BAC 3000 AMP MK II is the 2 outlets version of the standard Elite BAC 3000 MK II.
It is designed for two applications.
- As a balanced power conditioner solely for high power amplifiers in conjunction with the use of another Elite BAC MK II for the other equipment.
- As a pre-conditioner in conjunction with other brand’s distributors and distributors. (Wall to Elite BAC 3000 AMP MK II to Other brand Distributor currently in use.)
As a Pre-conditioner, the Elite BAC 3000 AMP MK II provides two very important characteristics that complements other distributors; complete DC voltage removal from the AC mains and Balanced Ground noise cancellation for equipment connected to it. From PLiXiR's research, most other conditioners / distributors do not perform these two very important power conditioning needs. The use of the Elite BAC 3000 AMP MK II before them will therefore complement their performance and improve the system sound. Also, there are no dynamic constraints for the Elite BAC 3000 AMP MK II in an audio setup, so dynamics will not be affected. From PLiXiR's testing, dynamics and PRaT improve with the use of the Elite BAC 3000 AMP MK II.

The Elite BAC MK II is the new generation Balanced Power Conditioner from PLiXiR. Based on the award-winning Elite BAC, the Elite BAC MK II improves upon the original on all performance aspects. The Elite BAC MK II features PLiXiR’s newly designed Fully Symmetrical Balanced Transformers, made to PLiXiR’s spec by Noratel with their proprietary XQ core. Together with improved case works, customed Bfly “Pure" footers, PLiXiR designed OFC internal hookup wires and improved construction technique, the Elite BAC MK II is set to raise the bar for Balanced Power Conditioning for audio application for years to come.

PLiXiR’s new transformer design improves upon the standard with even more tightly matched transformer windings amongst other improvements. This increases noise cancellation for even lower noise floor and purer tone. Improved dynamic and PRaT when every part is synchronized.
Custom made by Noratel to PLiXiR’s spec with their proprietary XQ (Extra Quiet) magnetic core material, this core has the lowest hum and vibration from all we have tried and provides maximum insulation against DC component in the AC mains.
It also comes with a NEW integrated external magnetic shield to reduce flux leakage and improve damping for the transformer for a cleaner sound.
Cryo USA Duplex Receptacle (PLUS-D)
From their design and manufacturing of PLiXiR balanced AC power conditioners, PLiXiR is always looking for better components to improve. Aspects of the sound which they value the most is neutral tone and true transparency. This allows equipment plugged into PLiXiR BAC to perform to their true potential.
The Made In Japan PLiXiR PLUS-D Hospital grade USA Duplex receptacle is one such component. With copper alloy conductors for the Live / Neutral connections, a vibration damping thermoplastic body, a thick metal plate for reinforcement and other design elements, in its native form PLiXiR finds that it is what they are looking for fundamentally.
PLiXiR then applies certain modifications to the outlet that improves the structural integrity and grounding further. The final unit then goes through a deep cryogenic process to relax the stress accumulated. The resulting PLUS-D is the best USA Receptacle that PLiXiR has tried, in terms of absolute neutral tone, true transparency and most importantly, delivers music naturally. Other Features
Casing
Extra rigid aluminium vault casing – Thick precision extruded and CNC machined aluminium slabs form the casing for the PLiXiR Elite BAC MK II. The new casing design has even less joints over the original Elite BAC that improves the general sound further. The bottom plate is a hefty 5mm thick plate of aluminium that anchors the whole casing.
