Skyanalog - Diamond 25th Edition – Moving Coil Phono Cartridge
This exclusive cartridge represents the pinnacle of craftsmanship and performance, designed for audiophiles seeking the ultimate in sound quality and precision.
At the heart of the Diamond 25th MC cartridge is an advanced generator system that ensures exceptional accuracy, low distortion, and superb channel separation. It features a state-of-the-art diamond cantilever and a nude diamond stylus, both of which contribute to its precise tracking ability and ability to retrieve even the finest details from vinyl grooves. Empowered by the Yan suspension, it represents the highest standard of sound performance.
As a limited-edition model, the Skyanalog Diamond 25th MC is not only a technical marvel but also a collector’s item. Its luxurious design and attention to detail reflect the brand’s commitment to excellence. With only a select number produced, this cartridge is a rare gem for audiophiles who value both superior performance and exclusivity in their analogue setups.
Skyanalog’s Diamond Cantilever
Skyanalog’s diamond cantilever represents a breakthrough in the adventure of material development. The integration of the Yan suspension system with the diamond pickup sets new standards in sound reproduction:
1. The synergy between the diamond stylus and the diamond cantilever achieves unprecedented rigidity, virtually eliminating signal loss between the grooves and the cartridge. However, the use of the same material for the cantilever and the cartridge makes the system susceptible to resonance. This required the redesign of a new suspension system to effectively control and mitigate potential unwanted resonances.
2. The lower density of diamond results in a lighter cantilever. This requires improved absorption of extraneous vibrations and a balanced dynamic suspension to ensure accurate signal reproduction without requiring higher tracking force.
3. The unique physical properties of diamond therefore require a tailor-made suspension concept. Yan ensures efficient vibration transmission without the risk of over-springing.
Yan (炎) Suspension - A Ground-Breaking Innovation from Skyanalog
The key of a MC cartridge lies in the precision of its damping system. It is the heart of the mechanical-to-electrical transducer process dominating how effectively the kinetic energy is transformed into musical information. The art of damping pivots on the principle of "matching" - ensuring that every component works in harmony.
Yan Suspension Features:
· Minimized Information, Loss and Distortion
· Exceptional Dynamic Range and Lifelike Soundstage

Based in China, for 25 years Skyanalog has been making acclaimed high-quality phono cartridges on an OEM basis for many of the world’s most famous cartridge brands, producing over 50,000 units spanning more than fifty models to date.
Skyanalog stands out in the analogue manufacturing space through their commitment to in-house production. 99% of their components are carefully manufactured on high-precision CNC stations, a labour-intensive process but important for Skyanalog’s our sustainable development and efficient testing procedures.
In 2019 Skyanalog began to manufacture a range of Moving Coil designs under its own brand name.
Growing up in rural China, founder Jack Leung collected components like resistors and transistors to begin his “DIY adventure", making his own “Hi-Fi" tube amplifier by the age of 16. After nearly ten years as a senior telecom engineer, he started Skyanalog, initially manufacturing tube amplifiers for the domestic market before transitioning to the global analogue market as an OEM supplier to many large analogue brands.
