These lids are made of sturdy heat-tempered glass for durability and convenience. The integrated vent in the lid knob allows the chef to control moisture without lifting the lid - simply open it to release steam or close to contain it. These universal glass lids come with durable Bakelite knobs and are suitable for any skillet, pot or pan, but is designed to be used with the Swiss Diamond Fry Pan, Saute Pan and Wok (standard and induction models). The stainless steel edging ensures it fits securely.

The cover is oven-safe to 500°F/260°C, although it is not suitable for broiler use. Please do not subject this or other glass articles to thermal shocks such as immersing the lid in water while it is still hot.
