Adults:
Dose for risk reduction - 2 tablets daily.
Dose for management of outbreak - 2 tablets twice daily.
Children 6 to 12 years:
Take 1 tablet daily, or as professionally prescribed.
Pregnancy:
Take 1 tablet daily. Warning
If symptoms persist, see your healthcare professional.
Zinc may decrease the absorption and efficacy of these medications. If taking tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics separate doses by at least 2 hours.
