Gubb & Mackie - Houndstooth Wool Blazer

Founded in 1949 as Naval Tailors, the Gubb & Mackie trademark was purchased from it's original owners by Murray Crane (of Crane Brothers fame) and re-introduced in 2015. Creatively led by none other than Jordan Gibson (of Checks Downtown fame), the label's second life was ultimately cut short in 2017. That being said, the quality of the pieces they produced can not be understated, some of the highest quality garments produced in New Zealand.

This tailored jacket is made from a heavyweight wool with a houndstooth pattern. It features a two-button front closure, front pockets and a notched lapel. Dress it up or down, however you like, but wear it with pride as an example of NZ-made excellence.
