Robin White's Typhoon is a 436-page paperback in the Crime and Thriller genre. The Baikal, a Russian nuclear submarine, was supposed to be decommissioned. However, the U.S. government's plan backfired when the Typhoon-class 'boomer' was discovered to be still operational during a routine surveillance mission.
