The LIGHTFORCE BLUE, RED & NEAR INFRARED LED LIGHT THERAPY 50 x 24 CM FLEXIBLE PAD is a powerful device. It has 200 triple chip LED diodes (200 Blue 470nm, 200 Red 630 & 200 Near Infrared 850nm)protective eyewear, a Velcro elasticised strap and 2 acrylic stands. Being so flexible it can be maneuvered to be used on all parts of the body from the scalp down to the feet. An added feature are the stands which allow it to be used as a canopy, so you can comfortably treat your face and neck and use it as a pad on other parts of your body. With its multiple applications it can be used to help provide relaxation to muscles and relieves muscle spasms, eases joint aches, pain and stiffness associated with arthritis and increases local blood circulation, accelerating healing and rejuvenate cells, reduce lines and wrinkles. Unlike a heating pad, infrared light therapy works below the skin’s surface reaching deep into tissues, stimulating cells and increasing circulation to target pain at the source.

THE SPECTRUMS

BLUE 470nm Wavelength:- 415nm works by killing the bacteria that cause acne. The blue light penetrates the skin and destroys the bacteria without damaging the surrounding tissue. It is also used to treat sun damage, fungal infections, sun spots and rosacea.

RED 630nm Wavelength:- 630nm targets the skins surface and studies show that it may rejuvenate cells, reduce lines and wrinkles, tone and smooth the skin. This wavelength may encourage hair regrowth by revitalising the hair follicle.

NIR 850nm Wavelength:- 850nm is able to penetrate deep through the body's skin and tissue into the bone, improving bone repair and growth. Its anti-inflammatory effects may help control erythema, oedema and bruising and encourage the release of ‘feel good’ endorphins. It is considered the most effective wavelength for traveling through skin, muscle tissue and bone to prompt deep tissue and wound healing.
