Country Applique

Applique has never been such fun! Barbara Nutt and Susan Ellery have created wonderful designs, all with a country theme, which can be appliqued on to almost anything - clothing, accessories, household furnishings, gifts, cards, posters using different fabrics but also paper and cardboard.

Using iron-on fusible webbing and a few simple embroidery stitches, and sometimes a marker pen, the authors have designed dozens of fabulous and fun projects which can be created in next-to-no time.

Projects include:

Framed pictures with a country theme - including a cow and a country cottage

Kitchen needs, such as tea towels, oven mits, cloths, which feature pigs and roosters as well as fruit

Clothing, such as windcheaters and T-shirts with windmills, trains, alphabets, chickens
