Bowl ~ 04

A stunning low bowl by Jack Tilson, made from Waitākere clay blended with silica and feldspar. Each piece by Jack is fired in a kiln he has made from bricks & cobbles; using pine and windfall. The base of this bowl is cut rather than turned which creates a beautiful contrast of soft and rough surfaces.
