Sillyworks x Gateron - Type R Switches

The Gateron Type R tactile switch might be the craziest tactile switch you have ever seen. Sillyworks' goal was to create a tactile switch that doesn't come with any linear travel: A 100% pure tactile switch. With the help of the elongated stem pole and tactile bump design, the tactility starts at the keypress and ends with the bottom-out. Sound-wise, because the travel is so short and bottom-out comes quickly, the Type R switches tend to sound clackier than other Gateron tactile switches.
