. Trees that are left on a permanent lean after being battered by intense coastal wind, form the basis of this series. The collaboration of Lynden Over'€™s glassworks, and Christine Robb's paintings, combine to give a more literal interpretation than their usual abstract landscape themes.
The liquidity of hot glass allows the trees on these vases to become the dramatic sculptural trees which are a constant source of delight for the artists when exploring New Zealand'€™s rugged coastlines.

This vase is a one-of-a-kind, handcrafted masterpiece which embodies Lynden's and Christine's stories about the environment. Handblown by award-winning glass artist Lynden Over in his Lava Glass Studio in Taupo, New Zealand. S igned and dated by the artist.
