Amber Smith Ceramics - Kitty Tumblers

Amber Smith is a self-taught ceramist & printmaker based in Nelson. Amber’s works often include whakatauki (proverbial sayings) or waiata (Māori songs), wise and up-lifting words that give a beautiful feeling to the art of love, hope and self-worth. She is known for using the sgraffito technique in her work, which isSgraffito is a decorative art technique where a top layer of material is scratched away to reveal a contrasting layer underneath.

Kitty Tumblers are approximately 10cm high with a 9cm diameter rim.
