Graphite Tuna C>1, Limited Edition Print

Celebrate the understated beauty and strength of New Zealand’s long-fin tuna with Paula Coulthard’s Graphite Tuna C>1, from her striking Tuna series. Inspired by the streams and rivers of her Wairarapa home, Paula uses Bauhaus design and abstraction to reduce each tuna to its essential form, highlighting its strength, movement and flexibility.

Each tuna is represented by a code, with the letter indicating the shape and the number indicating the colour. The< and >symbols show which direction the tuna is facing. These codes appear on both the original artworks and the prints.

The prints are the actual size of the originals - 700mm wide - 500mm high
