Kowhai Tuna D>2, Limited Edition Print

Celebrate the distinctive beauty of New Zealand’s long-fin tuna with Paula Coulthard’s Kowhai Tuna D>2, from her captivating Tuna series. Drawing inspiration from the streams and rivers of her Wairarapa home, Paula combines Bauhaus design and abstraction to create a considered interpretation of the tuna, celebrating its strength, movement and flexibility.

Each tuna is represented by a code, with the letter indicating the shape and the number indicating the colour. The< and >symbols show which direction the tuna is facing. These codes appear on both the original artworks and the prints.

The prints are the actual size of the originals - 700mm wide - 500mm high
