The Calathea Louisae, is a tropical plant known for it's dark green leaves with a deep purple underside. A white feathered streak runs down the center of it's leaves.

- Habitat: Prefers to be kept in warmer, humid temperatures. Mist the leaves regularly or use a humidity tray. Avoid sudden temperature drops, and keep away from draughts.
- Light: Bright, indirect light. Shield from direct sun.
- Water: Water when top inch of soil feels dry, ensure pot has drainage to avoid root rot.
- Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix to avoid root rot.
- Fertiliser: Feed with a balanced, water-soluble fertiliser every 4-6 weeks during growing season.
