Bio Leaf's mix is more fibrous than plain coco chips by themselves. It has a higher percent of coco fibre in the mix, making it more fibrous and 'fluffy' which roots love.

WATER AIR

The blend of chunky coco chips, coco fibres and coco peat makes for an ideal balance of water retention and drainage with lots of room for air even when saturated, creating air pockets within the substrate to help keep roots oxygenated, reducing the risk of root rot.

Naturally buffers to a range of pH 5.5 to 6.5 in the zone that helps keep more nutrients, more available to plants and helping avoid both acidic and alkaline extremes that can harm plants.
