The 12V transformer is suitable for the all the low voltage modular heated towel rails. A single transformer can support multiple towel rails, with the appropriate power output determined by the combined wattage of all the towel rails. Power Calculation Examples:
One Towel Rail:
If you need one rail consuming 20W , you only need to select a transformer with an input power of 48W.
Two Towel Rails:
If you need two rails, each consuming 20W, the total power required would be:
2 x 20W = 40W.
In this case, select a transformer with a power output of 48W.
Three Towel Rails:
If you need three rails, the total power requirement would be:
3 x 20W = 60W.
In this case, select a transformer with a power output of 72W. Important Considerations:
- The transformer must have a power rating higher than the combined total power of the towel rails you plan to use.
- Installation Distance: The maximum distance between the towel rail and the transformer should not exceed 2 meters.
