Wiri Leather-Trimmed Cotton-Corduroy Jacket
Wiri refers to the movement of the hands in Māori culture used to call on the spirit of ancestors. made from wide-wale corduroy in camel, the vertical lines of the corduroy reminded Kat Tua, the designer, of this movement, which is why the jacket was named wiri.
Inspired by traditional workwear jackets, it features a leather upper collar and is fully lined with a quilted cotton lining in a contrasting navy-and-white check, visible when the sleeves are rolled.
