We aged some of our Hot Curl-Hibiscus sour with Brettanomyces Bruxellensis. Then we added local bush honey and fresh raspberries. This myriad of flavours has produced a unique ale full of red berry fruits, soft chamomile aromas and a soft, pleasant acidity with underlying notes of beeswax-tinted honey. Expect the fruitiness to fade over time and more funky flavours to develop.

An enticing blend of numerous sour beer vintages from our barrel program, the majority of barrels used for our Dry-hopped Sour Ale 2020 are former Marlborough Chardonnay casks. Aromas of grapefruit & dank gooseberry lead to a soft sourness hinting at oak & vanilla. Finish is long & complex with lingering sour fruit notes over savoury green hops. Both alluring & delicious, drink now or cellar away.

Smoked Dark BockThe style orginates from Bamberg Germany. The malts are slowly smoked with beechwood, imparting a deep rich smokiness. This is made in the stronger version, a bock or strong lager. Brewed like our Longboarder and cold conditioned. It is rich and smooth with a round integrated smokiness. Like bacon and eggs in a glass by the camp fire.

Brewed with brettanomyces & lactobacillus along with generous portions of oats & rye, this sour beer was then conditioned with proprietary sol berries from Northland's Maungatapere Berries. From it's huge, tropical raspberry nose to its soft, delicate citric & lactic sourness, the beer is clean & refreshing. Will age well, but equally drinkable now.

This unique beer was fermented with 100% brettanomyces before conditioning with fresh raspberries & golden kiwifruit for several months. Not a 'sour' beer but a clean, fruit beer, so expect bright, fresh fruitiness bolstered with soft, juicy raspberry & subtle kiwifruit. Mouthfeel is round & delicate with tartness building to a dry, slightly savoury finish. Drink now or tuck away in the cellar.

We brewed this Saison with a classic Belgian yeast blend in tandem with brettanomyces & lactobacillus for a spicy, tart ale with soft acidity. Malted oats & rye grains lend a soft, bready body that's surprisingly full yet dry. Clean & refreshing, it will age & develop nicely in-bottle. Enjoy now or cellar. Bottle conditioned, so take care when opening & don't rouse the lees (yeast).

Black Watch 2020 is a marriage of styles - classic Wee Heavy meets Russian Imperial Stout. Dark as night and layered with roasted & sweet malts, it's bold, bitter & luscious.
