GUNDAM - P-Bandai: RG 1/144 RX-78-3 G-3 Gundam Ver 2.0 The third mobile suit to carry the RX-78 name, the G-3 Gundam, is finally joining the Real Grade Ver. 2.0 series. This version is featured with newly molded parts for its elbow, knee, and ankle parts. The Real Grade Ver. 2.0 frame allows for a wide range of motion. The neck has excellent mobility for flying poses, the shoulder joints offer smooth, natural movement, and the legs include a sliding mechanism that reveals inner joints during motion. It also includes the full Core Block System, allowing transformation into the Core Fighter. The G-3 is fully equipped for battle. The included Hyper Bazooka comes with an adjustable barrel, and the set includes everything needed for dynamic display.

- Core Fighter landing gear parts set The G-3 served as an experimental platform for testing magnetic coating technology, which would later be implemented in the RX-78-2 and other RX-78 series mobile suits. It featured the advanced NICN system—a next-generation learning computer also installed in the RX-78NT-1 Gundam NT-1. The mobile suit’s thermonuclear reactor was upgraded with a newly developed laser accelerator, dramatically enhancing its performance and granting it double the maneuverability of the RX-78-2. While nearly identical in structure to the original Gundam, the G-3 stands out with a subdued gray and light purple color scheme designed to reduce its visibility on the battlefield.
