The has a floral spicy nose with very sweet ripe fruit elements. The palate has good fruit intensity, sweet tannins and a wonderful freshness in the mouth. The tannins dissolve leaving a lovely perfumed and savoury aftertaste on the finish.

Mission colour is pale straw and the the aromas are complex and sweet showing toast and stone fruit with hints of marzipan and complex struck flint notes. The palate is full with fine structure and forward fruit and a long clean finish. The texture is rich with subtle aromas on the mid palate.

Mission Jewelstone Rose is pale salmon in colour with bright, delicate aromas of red berry fruits and fresh strawberry. A mere six barrels were produced of this fine wine, with subtle sweet spices imparted from barrel ageing, the palate is rich and textural with incredible length.

A blend of Bordeaux varietals from our Gimblett Gravels vineyards, the a reflection of the vintage in which it is crafted. Low yielding vines are hand harvested at optimum ripeness and maturity, carefully fermented and further matured in premium French oak barrels for 12 months. The resulting wine is rich, ripe and complex and will drink well now, or cellar gracefully for 10-20 years.
