iCare Extendable Side Rail NZ | Telescopic Bed Rail 690–950mm

A side rail that telescopes out when you need more of the bedside covered. It locks at 690mm and again at 950mm, and the extension can face either the head or the foot of the bed depending on where the protection is wanted.

WILL IT FIT?
✔ Fits iCare homecare beds only — it slips onto the bed frame, so it will not fit an ordinary divan or slat bed

HOW IT WORKS
The rail slips into the accessory socket on the side of the bed frame. The telescopic section slides out and locks at the longer setting, giving a wider barrier along the mattress edge; slide it back in and it to the shorter, more compact length.

SUITABLE FOR
Someone whose needs change — short rail for handholds during the day, extended for a wider bedside edge at night. Also useful where one rail has to suit more than one person or more than one situation.

SAFE USE
Bed rails should be selected following an assessment — an ill-fitting or unsuitable rail carries an entrapment risk. Check the telescopic section is fully locked at the chosen length before each use, and that the rail is fully seated in its socket.
