iCare Padded Rail Cover NZ | Bed Stick & U-Assist Rail | Waterproof

A padded cover sized for the iCare Bed Stick and the iCare U-Assist Side Rail. It cushions the rail where an arm or leg can knock against it, and closes off the openings so limbs are less likely to slip between the bars.

WILL IT FIT?
✔ Fits the iCare Bed Stick (ACBS) and the iCare U-Assist Side Rail (ACUSR)
✔ One cover per rail — order two if you have a rail on each side
✔ Does not fit the Low, High, Extendable or Full Length rails — each has its own cover size

MATERIAL AND CLEANING
Made from Zerotec waterproof wipeable fabric over padding, so it can be wiped down as part of a normal cleaning routine rather than needing to come off and be laundered.

WHY FIT A COVER
Two reasons. Comfort — a bare metal rail is hard to lean or roll against. And safety — padding across the rail openings reduces the chance of a limb slipping through, which is one of the known risks of bed rails.

SAFE USE
A cover reduces but does not remove the entrapment risk associated with bed rails. It is not a substitute for choosing the right rail and mattress combination following an assessment. Check the cover is fitted snugly and has not worked loose.
