The slimmest rail in the iCare range. The U-Assist has several grip points along its shape, so there is something to hold onto at each stage of rolling over, sitting up and moving to the edge of the bed — not just at the start.

HOW IT WORKS
The U-shaped rail slips into the accessory socket on the side of the bed frame. The curve gives grip points at different heights and angles, so the hand can be moved up the rail as the body comes upright. It lifts straight out again when it isn't needed.

SUITABLE FOR
Someone who needs support through a whole movement rather than one pull — for example, getting from lying to sitting in stages. A common step up from the Bed Stick. Used in homes, aged residential care and rehabilitation settings.
