Notes: Dark chocolate and walnut Inacio Carlos Urban first arrived in Minas Gerais in 1976 and in 1984, he bought a farm in Cerrado, Mineiro. Named Rio Brilhante, translates to ‘bright river’ - the crystal-clear waters of the Guarani Aquifer which nourish the farm are what Inacio is referring to.
has achieved many certifications as a coffee plantation. Its most crucial certification being its Rainforest Alliance Certification which requires 40% of the land to be covered in canopy to prevent soil erosion and encourage biodiversity.
