LEATHER Horween Mixed / Side Bundle

This side bundle offers an assortment of different types of the leathers from the famous Horween Leather Company in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Each bundle may contain a mix of Chromexcel®, Dryden, Dublin, Latigo, Talisman and others. The bundle is mostly in earthtone colours, but all the leathers are hand picked to ensure variety and colours. You will get 3~4 pieces of leathers about 18~22 sq. ft. each. Total of 55~65 sq. ft. per bundle. Great if you are working on larger projects.

Bloom

If you notice a white powder on your Horween leather, don’t worry—this is called "bloom." Bloom naturally occurs when the oils, waxes, or fats used during the tanning process rise to the surface, especially in cooler storage conditions. This is common in high-quality, full-grain leathers like Horween.
To remove bloom, simply buff the leather with a soft, dry cloth. A bit of warmth can also help. This is not harmful and is actually a sign of well-crafted leather.

An American company specialising in the manufacturing and refining of leather and related products. It is one of the oldest continuously running tanneries in the United States of America. Since its founding in the early 20th century it has been located in Chicago.
