Edelrid Technology

Thermo Shield: is the basic treatment that we apply to all our ropes to ensure they have the renowned Edelrid suppleness. The treatment involves a thermal process that perfectly aligns the core and sheath yarns. A special heat treatment relaxes then shrinks the ropes fibres.

Tracer Threads: The diameter of all Edelrid static ropes and accessory cords can be quickly and unambiguously determined from the number of tracer thread marking on the sheath.
