Marc Brédif Collection Vouvray 1989 750ml

One of the most famous names in the Loire Valley, Marc Brédif is renowned for the quality and longevity of the Vouvray they produce.

The winery, a 100 year old cellar, is owned and operated by the Baron de Ladoucette and produces some of the finest examples of Vouvray. Very traditionally made, this is 100% Chenin blanc from 25-30 year old vines matured for nine months on lees.

This benchmark example is a classic expression of an off dry Chenin blanc - a complex, just off dry wine that has the ability to age for many decades - developing honeyed richness over time.

Chenin has a beautiful perfume, pear, citrus, spice, ginger, honey and so much more. This vintage Vouvray Collection from Brédif has built a lovely level of opulence as it's aged.

Texturally luscious, it is a must try for lovers of this varietal.
