Sweetly aromatic, Bay Leaf (Bay Laurel) is one of the master herbs adding richness and depth of flavour. It has a distinctive flavour that blends well with many different cuisines and adds depth to slow-cooked dishes. Bay leaf pairs with rice dishes, and is commonly used to flavour stocks, braises, stews, marinades and soups; add early for the longer cooking time to draw out the flavour and remove before serving.
