- Never ingest essential oils.
- Never use them un-diluted on your skin. All essential oils should simply be blended in a carrier oil before applying to the skin. The dilution rate is usually 5 drops of essential oil blended into 10ml of carrier oil (carrier oils such as Almond, Apricot, Avocado, Jojoba,.).
- Never use essential oils topically on babies under 3 months old (except under the guidance of a qualified therapist). Always use in a more diluted form than the recommended adult dilution. As a general rule dilute the essential oils 2 drops per 10ml carrier oil.
