It was around 4" long and 3" tall.
It is believed that the Cooperoceras was a carnivore that consumed small animals.
The Cooperoceras had a coiled shell which allowed it to live deep in the ocean.
Today, the Cooperoceras has living relatives like octopus, squid and cuttlefish.
