It’s a dark green beauty with a deep root system which gives it reasonable drought tolerance. Performs best in full sun, can handle moderate shade.

A very fine leafed variety similar to fine fescues in its appearance. Its feature other than having a finer leaf than other rye grasses is that it’s happy to be cut very short or left long. For those serious lawn enthusiasts with a reel mower – this is the one for you. Suitable for cricket grounds or the like as well. Dark green show lawn appearance.

Excellent in sandy, coastal areas, it also thrives in the Auckland region. Likes the ground temperature up around 21 degrees to really fly but will still work down to about 16 degrees (soil temp). 1kg to 100sq metres at a full rate.
